Overview

Red Lizard Studioz is a multi-tenant platform that a marketing agency operates on behalf of its client businesses. Each client is a tenant: it owns its own blog content, knowledge base, chat agents, brand identity, lead pipeline and — optionally — its own LLM provider and API key. Inside the platform, an operator generates SEO articles through a multi-stage writing pipeline, maintains a per-tenant knowledge base from uploaded documents, and configures an embeddable chat widget that answers visitor questions from that knowledge and captures leads. Conversations feed back in: questions the assistant could not answer are scored and surfaced as blog ideas. The control surface is unusually deep for this class of product. Operators can edit the system prompts that drive the blog writer, the image agent and every chat agent — as layered blocks with a code default, a platform-wide override and a per-tenant override.

The challenge

An agency running content marketing for many small businesses hits the same wall repeatedly: every client needs on-brand articles, a website that reflects their actual services, and something to catch the visitors those efforts bring in. Generic AI writing tools produce copy that is fluent but wrong — inventing services the business does not sell and quoting prices nobody approved. The platform makes the business's own knowledge the source of truth and enforces that in code rather than in prompt wording. Documents, services and profile are embedded into a vector store where retrieval requires a non-empty tenant id before the query runs. AI-written articles are excluded from the factual passages the chatbot reasons over, and every chat reply passes through a compliance verifier before the visitor sees a word of it. The custom build is justified by what an off-the-shelf tool cannot give: tenant-level LLM sovereignty across six providers, prompt-level editability, and a data model where a lead, a conversation, an article and a knowledge document all belong to the same tenant entity.
